Areia

AREIA

Venturing through a distant desert, we traverse the terrain of our deepest desires and fears, searching for meaning. But life always finds a way to surprise us.
When the moment comes… Will you break free?

ABOUT THE STORY

Areia is a short film inspired by a family diary — pages once written by a man heading off to war. In his reflections, we find the boy who still viewed the world through poetry, yet mourned with anguish the fate that awaited him. As we brought his story to life, the desert became our own inner landscape. And the journey — a path toward understanding, healing, and transformation. Thinking and making cinema as a process of accessing memories and reconstructing them, reshaping them, imagining possible futures from this dialogue.
